Stay - ASEM Integration Enhancements

The Stay - Amadeus Sales and Event Management (ASEM) integration which is a link and sync type of integration has been enhanced to send details of only the room types blocked for a group in Stay.

Previously, details of all room types available at a property were sent from Stay to ASEM. This enhancement enables easier and more accurate tracking of blocked and picked-up room types for groups, especially for properties with large inventories.

The details of room types sent from Stay and received from ASEM are processed in Stay as follows:

Details Sent from Stay

Stay now sends details of only the room types blocked for the group in Stay. Any additional room type details received from ASEM during the link and sync will not be added to the group in Stay.

Synchronization of Blocked Rooms

The count of rooms blocked for a group are synchronized between Stay and ASEM, and when any additional room types are present for the group in ASEM that are not blocked for the group in Stay, the count of the rooms blocked for those room types will be updated as 0 in ASEM.

Subsequent Synchronization from ASEM to Stay

After blocked room count is updated to 0 in ASEM, when a subsequent synchronization occurs between ASEM and Stay, the room type details are sent from ASEM to Stay and added to the group in Stay with the room block count as 0.
